A study released in June of this year reveals that obesity leads to an increased cancer death risk in the Asia-Pacific region. The study compared the risk of dying from cancer between normal weight and obese individuals in the region. After analyzing data from 424,500 adults in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, researchers found that obese individuals were 21 percent more likely to die from cancer.
The study was published in the June 29 issue of The Lancet Oncology. To access the article, please visit: www.thelancet.com/journals/lanonc/article/PIIS1470-2045(10)70148-0/fulltext (free registration required).

Backed By Quality Science- New Studies Alert
Research has always been important to Lifewave as a company. This is important to me because as a healthcare professional, I know how important research is to this community. Without research, it’s hard to establish credibility. Since Lifewave does back their products by quality science, I can really get behind their products. I have no quams about recommending these products to people because 1) the research results are outstanding, and 2) I have experienced tremendous results myself.
I’m pleased Lifewave as a company understands the importance of research. To date, they have over 30 completed studies done on their products. This is a lot of research, many studies of which were performed by independent physicians, scientists, and researchers. These studies are double blind and placebo controlled, which is the gold standard of science.
Lifewave isn’t done with research yet, however. Recently announced to distributors, Lifewave plans to have 50 completed studies total by the end of 2010. I appreciate this company’s vision, I appreciate their products and what they do for my life, and I appreciate all the benefits I know are taking place within my body since there is science to back up the benefits of the products.
Here is a recent announcement from Lifewave as to which studies are currently being performed.
“Quality research remains a top priority at LifeWave! To date, we have completed more than 30 clinical studies and are aiming to raise that number to 50 by the end of 2010.
Why is research a top initiative at LifeWave? The research we conduct not only helps back the claims we make about our products, but it is also a means of constantly learning more about the way our products function. The end result is that our members benefit with new and better ways of using our products to stimulate acupuncture points for improving and maintaining their health.
Here are a number of the important new studies our researchers around the world have been conducting:
SP6 Complete - Three study sites have completed data collection on the SP6 Complete Program, and a fourth study is in-progress in Israel.
IceWave - Four new studies are underway to test the efficacy of IceWave patches in decreasing pain.
Energy Enhancer & Glutathione - A new pilot study examines the impact of these two patches on electrical activity in the brain.
X-15 - There are multiple studies in-progress on our newest anti-aging patch! More information will be released at a later date.
To view a more detailed report on our in-progress studies, visit the Research Section of the LifeWave website at www.lifewave.com/research.asp.”
Now, this is something we can all appreciate.

Published Studies Announcement
We are pleased to announce that two new research papers on our Glutathione and Carnosine patches have recently been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication!
LifeWave researcher Dr. Homer Nazeran presented the papers on May 1 at the 26th Southern Biomedical Engineering Conference at the University of Maryland at College Park – one of the country’s top engineering schools. Both papers will be featured on an International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) CD-ROM, as part of the IFMBE Proceedings Series. The IFMBE website states:
“The papers of the IFMBE proceedings present research results of a high impact for the community and their high scientific standard is guaranteed by a double peer-reviewing of every published paper.”
Dr. Nazeran and Dr. Sherry Blake-Greenberg conducted the studies using an Electro Interstitial Scan (EIS) to test the effect of the patches on various organs. The studies demonstrated that all organs achieved significant cellular physiologic functional status improvement compared to baseline data.
These two studies are available for review on Lifewave’s official website under the Research section. Click here to view.
